Product

Trimfix spray adhesive is a commercial quality adhesive used by professionals for vehicle interiors, head-linings, carpeting, fabric & leather. It exhibits high temperature resistance up to 120°C/248°F and is extremely flexible.

Method of Use

Trim Fix is a multi-purpose, heavy duty adhesive with high temperature resistance, specially formulated for use in the automotive industry. It is ideal for use in vehicle trimming applications such as head linings, door and panel trims, carpets etc.

It is particularly suited for bonding most furnishing materials to themselves or to each other, including fabrics, leather, wood, metal, rubber plastics and foam.

It is equally effective in manufacturing or refurbishing the interiors of new, used or vintage cars, coaches, caravans, leisure homes, boats and other similar vehicles.

Trim Fix is extremely easy to apply, firstly ensure that surfaces to be bonded are clean, dry and free from any contamination. For a stronger bond spray a number of light coats onto both surfaces from about 13cms (5ins.). For a lighter bond apply to one surface only. Allow a few moments for the solvents to evaporate. Press surfaces together firmly, working outwards to achieve a good bond. When finished invert the can and spray for a few seconds to clear the nozzle.

Disposal Considerations

Trimfix car carpet adhesive spray 500ml high temperature must be disposed of safely, in accordance with local authority requirements.  The empty containers must not be burned due to explosion hazards.
